Marc Southgate - BHS Physiotherapy, Post Grad. Western Acupuncture, MNZP
Director / Principle Physiotherapist

Picture

Hi, I'm Marc.

I am a enthusiastic Physiotherapist with a love for people and understanding how the human body functions. I have a clear practice approach based on an integration of manual therapy and exercise prescription that focuses on treating the cause of your problem rather than providing you with a temporary solution.

I have a keen attitude towards health and fitness, finding that some of the greatest rewards in life are those achieved by helping others reach a destination in life they thought was untouchable whether it be living life pain and injury free, dropping those extra kg's,  or returning to a former sport or passion.

I have 10 years experience in the health and fitness industry and 7 years experience providing Physiotherapy and Strength and Conditioning services to the general public and premier level sports teams.

Feel free
to visit me at the Physio Moves clinic at Botany Town Centre, I am here to help you.

HI I'm sean (SMITTY).

I got interested in Physiotherapy after a stint of injuries kept me from playing. These encounters left me intrigued by what else Physiotherapy could do to help people I started my journey to becoming a Physiotherapist.

I have found a career in Physiotherapy not just a job. Any time you are able to rid others of pain or help them achieve a goal they thought they never could is one of the most rewarding feelings there is. That is why I love the job, the fact that I can help people start to use “I can” rather than “I can’t”.

I have a very keen interest in sports Physiotherapy and rehabilitation as this is what first brought me to the profession. I enjoy being under pressure from coaches to keep their star players on the pitch as this pushes me to keep up with advancement of rehab strategies and protocols.

I will be at the new clinic in Takainini, so pop in with any concerns you may have.

Hi, I'm Rachael.

Like most people, I have had my own challenges wilh illness and injuries. I see these temporary setbacks as reminders that ‘health is my real wealth’ and I gratefully use my wealth of physiotherapy knowledge to assist others to in their health journey.

I am an innovative physiotherapist with a broad range of skills; I have a background in musculoskeletal and hospital based physiotherapy. I have a strong interest in using biomechanical analysis, postural assessment and exercise to enhance the movement of a client. Hi, I'm Nikki.

Marc and I founded Physio Moves in early 2015.  We birthed the business with a vision to create a Physiotherapy clinic that makes a difference to lives of the people seeking our services by welcoming our clients through our doors as part of the family and sending them away leading a better quality of life once done with their injury rehabilitation.

I spent the good part of two years working in retail management before moving on to the aviation industry where I was cabin crew for eight years and an Inflight Service Manager for thee of those years.  It was in these roles where I refined my customer service and management skills.

I am also a mom to two beautiful girls which is my most valued and happiest achievement in life to date.
I love keeping reasonably fit, getting outdoors as much as possible, being creative, reading books that help me grow personally and professionally and most of all spending and investing time in my family and friends lives where ever possible.

I am based in our Botany clinic and would love to meet you when you pop in to get you injury seen to.
